About the Author

    Sandy Whelchel is the author of three novels, eight nonfiction books, and five educational coloring books. Her writing career over the past thirty years includes the following:

        Stringer and columnist for The Denver Post, Parker News Press, and The Express newspapers with over 1,000 articles published. Wrote monthly column on Parker (CO) History for and Parker Trail newspaper.

        Lecturer on writing and historical events in the Parker area. Writing teacher for Oasis Senior Activities, Arapahoe Community College, Aurora Parks and Recreation, and National Writers Association. Presently Executive Director for the National Writers Association.
